How pricing works

Each job is quoted from its die, board, quantity and process requirements. The table shows the main cost drivers.

What we need to price a job

  • Die size and total pads.
  • How many die to bond, and how many spares you have.
  • Wire: aluminium, gold, or advise me.
  • Glob-top: clear, black, or none for probing.
  • Board: your design, our template, or help designing one.
  • Testing: standard, custom, none, or discuss.
  • Where it ships and the deadline.

Questions

Why is each job quoted separately?

Die, board, quantity, partner process and shipping route change the work involved. The quote lists the assumptions and cost lines.

Is there a minimum order?

There is no minimum order quantity, but setup and non-recurring engineering costs should be taken into account. Unit costs come down from 500 units and above, quoted as a separate line item.

Can I get a rough number before I send the details?

Share the die size, pad count and quantity. We will review the request and ask for any details needed to be able to provide you with an approximate quotation.

Does the quote change after I accept it?

The quotation is valid unless any details change. We will make you aware of any changes as soon as you request them.
