Known-good die sourcing
We look for bare die to match a requested part, function and quantity.
What it is
Known-good die (KGD) are bare die tested at wafer level and sold as working. Memory parts such as EEPROM and SPI NOR are examples of die we have experience in sourcing.
- We find a source for the part and the quantity you need, and tell you what it costs per die.
- When sourcing die we obtain the releveant information about the die and can share this with you.
- We can send you complete wafers or handle the backgrinding, dicing and division for you as required.
What we need from you
If columns are out of view, scroll horizontally
| Item | Why |
|---|---|
| Part number or function | Describe the part, use and key requirements. |
| Quantity | Sources have minimum wafer or lot sizes. |
| Die format | Whole wafer or waffle pack. |
| Wire and pad metal | Relevant if you also need chip-on-board bonding. |
| Deadline | Keep in mind that wafer lead times can vary significantly. |
Limits
- We can only source parts a supplier is willing to sell bare. Many are not.
- Stock and pricing move. A quote is valid for the period it states, not indefinitely.
- The documentation is whatever the source provides. We do not create wafer maps or lot data ourselves.
- We do not source restricted parts. See export compliance.
