Export compliance

Every job starts with a short export compliance confirmation from you. We do not handle die for restricted end uses, and we may decline or pause a job while we ask questions.

What we ask

  • That you have the right to export the die, and any related design data, from where you are to China, and to receive the boards back.
  • A description of the die and what it's function is.
  • That the die and the boards are not for military, weapons, nuclear or missile end use, or for any person or organisation on a sanctions or restricted-party list.

What we do

We handle the import into China and the export of the finished boards. We may ask follow-up questions, and we may decline or pause a job if we are unable to confirm the function of the die and that it meets import and/or export requirements. We cannot give legal advice, and the classification of your design remains your responsibility.

Tell us early

If your die or design may be subject to export controls, say so in your message. It changes what we ask for, not usually whether we can help. See also shipping die to China.
